Fully automatic and hygienic cutting of sausage links to reduce the risk of contamination by personnel.
The distances between the products are determined with the help of sensors and they are cut using a circular knife. The system is managed by means of a PC controller. Presets are stored and can be accessed for the various sausage products and links.

To guarantee occupational safety when loading the system manually, safety light curtains are fitted in front of the working area of the String-cut. These detect any encroachment in this area and stop the machine immediately. A cross-belt conveyor transfers the cut products for further processing. The product feed system can be further optimised by automatically removing the smoke sticks from an intermediate conveyor.

Alternatively, a String Cut for the horizontal cutting of links is also available.
